What is DashTag?
DashTag is a social platform built exclusively for vehicle enthusiasts. It combines a digital garage for documenting your vehicles, social features for connecting with other enthusiasts, community groups, event discovery and management, and real-time location sharing for group drives.
Is DashTag free?
Yes, DashTag is free to download and use. Core features including your digital garage, joining communities, discovering events, and connecting with other enthusiasts are all free. Event organizers may charge for tickets, and premium features may be available in the future.
What platforms is DashTag available on?
DashTag is available on iOS (App Store), Android (Google Play), and web. Your data syncs in real-time across all devices, so you can switch between your phone and computer seamlessly.
What types of vehicles are supported?
DashTag supports all types of vehicles including cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATVs, boats, aircraft, and more. Whether you drive a classic muscle car, a modern sports car, a vintage motorcycle, or a custom off-road rig, DashTag has you covered.
Privacy & Security
Who can see my vehicles?
You control the visibility of each vehicle in your garage. You can make a vehicle public (visible to everyone), visible to friends only, or completely private. You can also choose which details are visible on your public profile versus what stays private.
How does Ghost Protocol work?
Ghost Protocol is our privacy mode that lets you browse DashTag without appearing online or in discovery features. When enabled, your location isn’t shared, you don’t appear in “nearby” searches, and your online status is hidden. You can still use all features normally.
Can I control who sees my location?
Absolutely. Location sharing is always opt-in. You choose when to share your location, with whom (specific events, friends, or groups), and can stop sharing at any time. Your location is never shared without your explicit action.
How do I block someone?
To block a user, visit their profile and tap the menu icon, then select “Block User.” Blocked users cannot view your profile, see your vehicles, message you, or interact with your content. You can manage blocked users in your account settings.
Account
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. You’ll be asked to confirm your decision. Account deletion permanently removes your profile, vehicles, posts, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
Can I export my data?
Yes, you can request a full export of your data from Settings > Account > Export Data. This includes your profile information, vehicle details, photos, posts, and other content. The export is delivered as a downloadable file within 24 hours.
How do I contact support?
